This little project demonstrates simple components of an automata mechanism including gears, cams, levers, wire links and followers. If you wanted to try your hand at building an automata its an easy place to start. It stands about 12" high an 8" wide. We use it a teaching aid at our exhibitions. If you are a woodworker, you can make this simple had waving machine.
