This weekend a guest engineer in training created havoc on the South Bay Railway causing a collision and derailment at Hodderville Junction. Passengers waiting for the mainline commuter narrowly missed being injured when two CP freights collided at the junction behind the station. Fortunately there was no loss of life but the local baker was terrified as he fled the scene.
Federal transpiration officials have visited the accident site and are investigating. The engineering staff have been suspended with pay pending the result of the investigation.
It would seem that doing something once doesn't always mean it's done. After passing a kidney stone last week I thought I had had enough fun. Apparently not! I launched my second stone Monday morning.
I can think of better ways to pass the time. I seem to be on the mend again and hopefully getting back to the shop soon. There may be a small kitchen reno in the works as well.
Here's picture of my baby for the curious.
