As my last automata project was nearing completion my brother passed on a Pachinko Machine that had been hiding in his basement for numerous years. It was a fixture in his house in the seventies and amused his three children endlessly. Video games were just getting stated back then so it was quite a novelty!
With a little TLC and cleaning it now has been resurrected to former glory and Pachinko balls are clanging around again! You can never have enough Gizmos around!

Wow, what a crazy coincidence ! I have the same pachinko machine ! Bought in the 70ies at a progressive furniture dealer in Bonn as a used machine. No problems until today.. In your land you have some experts and also a dealer, but nothing in Germany. Pachinko is here very unknown. and so it is a really unique piece.and for some guests a big attraction.

Hello so I ran across your blog on the web and I have two pachinko machines one just like the one you have do not in such great condition but they're both vintage Japanese and they need some TLC I was wondering if you know anybody who might be interested in them or maybe yourself please let me know thank you bye
